Engineering Division
Providing the necessary facilities to the judicial system for the efficient and effective administration of justice is a primary responsibility assigned to this Ministry. To that end, the core role of the Engineering Division is the provision of new infrastructure, as well as the improvement and maintenance of existing facilities. Under this division, several important tasks, including the construction of new court complexes and buildings, the construction of official residences for judges, and repair and maintenance work, are carried out under its coordination and supervision.
a) Projects carried out by the Ministry are mainly implemented in several ways. Namely,
- Large-scale construction projects
- Construction projects carried out under provisions allocated for small-scale projects
- Repair projects carried out through provisions allocated under the rehabilitation expenditure head via budget estimates
- Construction projects carried out under provisions allocated via budget estimates under the three-year infrastructure development plan
- Construction projects carried out under the "Adhikarana Piyasa" project

Future Plans
In light of the challenging economic environment that prevailed in the country during the years 2022-2023, several projects were suspended by mutual agreement in accordance with National Budget Circular No. 03/2022. Provisions have been allocated from the 2026 Budget to commence those projects identified as priority requirements. Accordingly, the following projects, which were previously suspended by mutual agreement, are currently being initiated this year:
